City rules

iCity is a community, and these rules keep it a pleasant place for everyone. Registering means you agree to them.

How to behave

• Be respectful. No swearing at people, no harassment, threats, racism or incitement.
• If someone asks you to stop contacting them, stop. If someone bothers you, click their nickname in the chat and choose to ignore them.
• No spam, no ads and no flooding the chat.
• Don't pretend to be someone else, and that includes the city staff.
• The city is open to all ages, so there is no place here for sexual or violent content.
• Never ask anyone for their password or personal details. The city staff will never ask for yours.

Nicknames

Your nickname shows everywhere in the city. Don't pick one that is rude or hurtful, or one that looks like a city role, such as mayor, admin or support. The staff can ask you to change a nickname like that, or ban the account.

Uploads

• Upload only things that are yours, or that you are allowed to use: images, objects and avatars.
• No files that try to run code on other people's computers, break in, or slow the city down.
• Whatever you upload and place somewhere public is seen by everyone who visits.
• The staff can remove anything that breaks these rules.

Your account and money

• Your account is yours alone. Don't give your password to anyone.
• iC is the city's money. It has no value outside the city and is not bought or sold for real money.

When the rules are broken

The staff can warn you, mute you in the chat or send you out of a place. For something serious, or something that keeps happening, they ban the account for a day, a week, a month or for good.

While banned you cannot enter the city, and you cannot open a new account from the same internet connection. When the ban ends, the account works as before.
